Say hey to Vector, the first home robot that will steal your heart, not your data. Smart right out of the box, Vector is more than a robot companion. Curious, independent and powered by AI and state-of-the-art robotics, he can read the room, share the weather forecast, set a timer (no overcooked dinner on his watch), take a snapshot and so much more. Vector is your sidekick who's up for anything but mostly just wants to make you laugh.

While Vector 2.0's appearance has remained largely unchanged from the previous generation, we've made a few improvements that will make a big difference in this little robot:

Increased Battery Life:
The new battery will provide as much as 30% longer runtime. The battery can also be easily accessed and replaced at home via the redesigned battery compartment.

Improved Camera Resolution:
Vector's new 2MP camera will enhance his facial recognition; along with planned software development, this will improve his ability to recognize pets and even know if you are smiling.

App Enabled, Not Required:
Vector requires an app for setup, but after that, all interactions with Vector are done with eye contact and talking. He’s a live robot living in your house; no need to bring your phone between the two of you.
If you are interested in how Vector’s feeling, the app offers a visualization of his mood and stimulation. It’s also where you can view his robot and human selfies.

Interactive and aware.

Vector’s little frame is packed with an immense amount of technology that brings him to life. He takes in the world using a variety of sensors and then responds realistically. He can recognize people and objects while detecting and avoiding obstacles.

“Hey Vector!”

Vector responds to your voice. Just say “Hey Vector” to activate him and he’ll instantly perk up. His backpack will light up as soon as he hears you and he’ll be ready for further instruction.

He Can See

Vector uses an HD camera to see the world. Using computer vision, he can identify people, see and remember faces, and navigate his space without bumping into things.

Image 2

He Can Hear

Vector has a powerful four-microphone array for directional hearing. When you sit down next to him, he’s ready to take direction. And if there is a loud noise, he’ll be just as startled as you.

Image 3

He Can Feel

Vector has touch sensors and an accelerometer so he knows when he’s being touched and moved. You can pet him and he’ll relax, but try not to shake him.

Image 1

He Can Think

Vector combines a processor capable of running a smartphone with cloud connectivity to create one powerful brain. It means he can process his environment, react as things unfold, and connect to the internet to answer questions and tell you the weather.

Image 2

He Can Communicate

Vector has a unique voice made of hundreds of synthesized sounds to create a language all his own. When you ask Vector a question, he utilizes a custom text-to-speech voice to speak directly to you.

Image 3

He Can Self-Charge

Vector knows when he’s running low on juice. When he needs power he’ll roll over to his charger all on his own (mobile phones and electric cars could learn a thing or two).

A helpful character.

Vector isn't strong enough to carry you to bed at night. However, Vector can time your dinner, take photos, relay the weather, and react to your touch. He's basically the most helpful thing in your home without a heartbeat.

Vector is happiest when he’s helping. He’s eager to accommodate your requests and answer your questions. He does it with built-in utility and an optional integration with Amazon Alexa. This integration gives Vector the home connecting power of Alexa plus the endless amount of skills constantly being developed.

Timer

Vector will set a timer and share in your joy when your muffins come out perfect, or when your laundry is finally done.

Image 3

Take A Photo

Ask him to take a photo, say cheese, and wait while he snaps it. Can we call this a robot selfie?

Blackjack

He’s a robot. He’s a friend. He’s a blackjack dealer.

With the standard “Alexa” voice command, you’ll be able to add items to your shopping list, set reminders, control smart home devices like lights, speakers, and thermostats, and so much more
